The Allegheny Ascent is a challenging metric century which guarantees more than 5,250 feet of climbing through the beautiful Allegheny Mountains. Shaded climbs on seldom-traveled rural roads featuring pristine forests, streams and wildlife. Sponsored by Reed, Wertz & Roadman.
Note: NEW IN 2016 - the Allegheny Covered Bridge Tour offers a metric century of rolling hills, a challenging distance without all of the steep climbs. Incorporates the beginning of the Allegheny Ascent (before the major climbs) and links with the 36-mile Covered Bridge Cycling Tour.
