Educator in the Workplace
is a unique program that provides school teachers, guidance counselors and administrators the opportunity to tour local businesses and visit with employers. The educators discuss job skills, experience, attitude and other hiring factors; they can then take this first-hand knowledge back to their classrooms and better prepare local students for the jobs available in our region.
Past hosts of Educator in the Workplace tours have been among the best-of-the-best of our business community, representing a wide array of careers.
Recent participants include: REI, Wal-Mart Distribution Center, Gateway Travel Plaza, Blue Triangle, BC Stone, and Cycling Sports Group.
