The Bedford County Chamber Foundation is pleased to announce a new program designed to foster positive work ethic habits in area students
The Pursuit of Excellence initiative will begin with the publication of a children's book for 3rd grade students in the Bedford County region.
The book will feature local businesses with an emphasis on success stories, career opportunities and community service.
Local artist David Mowry has designed a pair of animal mascots who will serve as the "guides" and storytellers throughout the book., coming to area schools in Spring of 2015.
