HISTORY OF THE BEDFORD COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce was organized in 1986 to involve and unify the local business community with the goal to enhance and promote continuous improvement of the business climate in our region.
A vibrant organization, the Chamber's diverse membership offers a cadre of talented and dedicated individuals who have a wealth of experience and knowledge. The Chamber is comprised of every kind of organization imaginable, from world renowned manufacturing companies to family owned bed & breakfasts. Nearly 600 members of the Chamber share a common goal to promote growth and prosperity for the entire Bedford County community.
The Chamber is committed to helping businesses prosper. We know that the social and economic health of the community is only as strong as the health of the businesses which comprise the community. The Chamber is concerned about the success of all its members and seeks to provide opportunities for business growth and improvement.
